Implementing these procedures is our first priority:

Our ratios will remain the same 6:1 (Seedlings) and 7:1 (Saplings) camper to counselor. However, this summer we may end up having far fewer campers in general per camp, which will help our efforts to socially distance during activities. Plus lots of hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and supervision to make sure everything goes according to plan.
Each camper will have their own storage area for their belongings and we will stagger access to those so we keep everyone as separate as possible. We’ll have ample space and spread out when we work on arts and crafts.
We will not spend any time indoors this summer, but will increase water activities in efforts to help keep everyone cool and comfortable. We will also increase our time spent down at the forest where we can spread out and be comfortable.
Our animal time will be done strictly within the individual groups and we will rotate through the animals systematically. Of course, we will do lots of hand washing both before and after handling the animals as we normally do.
We will keep the Sprouts, Seedlings and Saplings groups completely separate this year, to minimize co-mingling as much as possible. This will include pick up and drop offs as well. We will not have parents enter the premises to minimize outside contacts as much as possible.
It is our belief that children thrive being outdoors and being social, we look forward to helping make this summer as joyful and fun as possible, while also making it as safe as possible. Thank you for entrusting your children to us.
